Scott Cramer
Starting with the 2005-2006 Season our director holds a Master in Music in
Conducting (1991) and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education (1985) both from
Western Michigan University. Scott is the current Music Director for High
School Instrumental Music at Wayne-Westland Schools directing the John Glenn
High School bands and orchestras. Other teaching/assisting assignments has
giving him experience in directing groups from primary education levels up to
college level in instititional settings and as a clinician/consultant on a large
number of High School Bands through summer instructional programs.
Performance experience as an accomplished percussionist has been shared with a
number of groups including the Kalamazoo Symphony. Scott Cramer is also
member of NEA, MEA, MSBOA, Phi Eta Mu, and Phi Mu Sinfonia.
